What to Expect
The assessment is a structured conversation, not a test you can fail. A licensed practitioner walks through your history, current circumstances, and any requirements from your referral source, using approved screening tools to determine what level of support fits.
Recommendations can range widely depending on the results: education, outpatient treatment, day treatment or intensive outpatient, residential treatment, medication-assisted treatment, peer support, or family support. The goal is the same in every case — an honest picture and a next step that fits it.
Privacy and Releases of Information
Your assessment is confidential. Hope Council staff cannot share or discuss your information with anyone — including family members, employers, or referral sources — unless you have signed a Release of Information.
When your referral requires documentation (a court, licensing board, or employer, for example), you control that sharing: a signed release authorizes Hope Council to send your results and recommendations to the people you designate, and no one else.
What comes next
Education or treatment referral
If the assessment recommends education or treatment, Hope Council connects you to local providers and programs that fit the recommendation — and your insurance or payment circumstances.
