Why this works
Help shouldn’t keep business hours, and barriers cost lives. A vending machine asks nothing of the person standing in front of it — not their name, their story, or their readiness — and that’s exactly why it works. In its first year, Hope Council’s machine distributed 448 doses of naloxone (2023). Every one was a chance for someone’s story to keep going.
