What’s available

Syringe service supplies, naloxone, fentanyl and xylazine test strips, safe disposal kits, emergency contraception, and risk-reduction items — all no-cost.

Where and when

The front desk at 6103 39th Ave., during regular business hours. Southport Lighthouse Recovery Club every Monday & Thursday from 5-7pm.

Who can pick up

Safer-use supplies are available to anyone 18 years of age or older. No questions, no stigma, no judgment.

What comes with it

Every kit includes community resource and service information — there if you ever want it, never a condition of the supplies.

Practical ways to lower the risks

Safer is not the same as safe — no use is risk-free. These steps reduce the immediate dangers:

Keep naloxone nearby, and make sure the people around you know where it is and how to use it.
Test before use. Fentanyl and xylazine show up where they are not expected; test strips are free here.
Avoid using alone. If someone is with you, an overdose is survivable. If you are alone, consider letting someone know to check on you.
Using new supplies and not sharing them with others can reduce your risk and the spread of infection.
Know the signs of overdose, and call 911 the moment you see them.

What walking in is actually like

You ask. You receive. That is the whole transaction. Nobody asks why, nobody takes your name for a list, and nobody slides a treatment brochure at you unless you ask for one. The resource information in each kit is there for whenever — or never. Staff can connect you to peer support, treatment options, or local providers any time you want, and the supplies are yours either way.
